They no longer care about customer loyalty!!!

I have been making on-time payments for 10 years. Except a few months ago I was one day late on my last payment. They said they were going to in instate my policy after I provided all the information they requested over the phone, and they did. Then, a few weeks ago I had an accident. Well, they just told me that they made an error during the reinstatement procedure and that technically I am not covered! Now, I have to get a lawyer. Unfortunately, since Response Insurance was bought out by Unitrin, they no longer care about customer loyalty…. just the bottom line.
